Glass cosmos

Don’t miss the extraordinary meeting of artists with whom praguekabinet collaborates. Painter Anna Neborová is exhibiting together with Michaela Tomišková and Jakub Janďourek of the Dechem studio in the elegant Ville Pellé in Prague’s Bubeneč district. Here you will see nearly thirty fascinating still-life images of glass vases and other objects of post-war Czech glass.

Their style at the boundary between realism and abstraction and distinctive colours inspired Dechem to create the Planets collection of unique hand-blown glass sculptures, giving them the form of mysterious celestial bodies into which they had images projected using densely mixed colours with emphasis on pastel tones, which are “the result of a natural process not unlike the birth of stars” and, in places, delicateness using translucency. Every Planet is a unique piece, signed on the bottom by Dechem for praguekabinet.
