Praguekabinet - new showroom of modern art gallery in the center of Prague
There is no need to introduce lengthily Praguekabinet to lovers of fragile porcelain Nymphenburg, amazing works from Fornasetti workroom or legendary glass made by Venini. Don’t look for the showroom in Žižkov anymore, but at a new address in the heart of old Prague, in 13 Platnéřská street, opposite Klementinum and next to Bottega La Finestra bistro. „As our client base is still expanding, we wanted to offer them regular opening hours as in conventional shops and better accessibility,“ says the owner Gábina Pecičová.
She has a clear vision of the form of the new showroom, that was created with help of an interior designer Ivanka Kowalski (she designed, for example, the niche and shelving and storage furniture). Hot news there are Francis Vízner’s glass objects, decorative plates Fornasetti with golden elements or candlesticks by Arik Levy, whose silver statue SolidLiquid glitters in the shop window and its edition was created in glassworks in Nový Bor. In addition to paintings by Petr Písařík, the showroom owner decided to present the works of John Kaláb and Anna Neborová.
