Jake Phipps

This British designer completed his furniture design studies in 1999at Parnham College, a private school founded by the renowned designer John Makepeace. In 2005 he set up his own studio in London and began designing pieces for a range of European manufacturers such as Gebruder Thonet, Riva, Innermost, and Horm.

Since 2010 he has specialised in designing and manufacturing his own unique and highly sophisticated bespoke pieces. The hallmark of his award-winning work is often a vibrant and elegant metal form that is not only functional, but also gives his pieces a hallmark of luxury and exceptional quality. It is an understatement to say that one of his pieces can imprint the character of an entire interior.
