The Sé Salon at praguekabinet 6.9. 2017
From 6th September, Prague-based art and design showroom, praguekabinet, celebrates its longstanding relationship with European furniture brand Sé by unveiling ‘The Sé Salon’, a specially curated exhibition of Sé pieces from the brand’s three critically-acclaimed collections.
Sé offers a range of highly-crafted and beautifully-finished furniture, lighting and objects, made of noble materials. With timeless forms, a curvaceous aesthetic and a spirit of play, Sé pieces are feted for their characterful, sculptural profiles, and their ability to captivate the senses.
To date, Sé has created three collections with three esteemed talents; Collection I by French designer Damien Langlois-Meurinne, Collection II by Spanish-born Jaime Hayon and Collection III by Slovenia-based Nika Zupanc. Under Sé’s stewardship, each designer brings their own sensibility and character, while harnessing a personality, polish and sheer sense of finish that is undeniably Sé. They are sensual, tactile and cerebral, inviting the gaze and the touch as well as engaging the mind.
Key products from across Sé’s portfolio will be presented in new colours and fabrics, all of which have been carefully selected with praguekabinet especially for this show. Also on display will be the dream-like Stay Daybed by Nika Zupanc, a showpiece that was unveiled earlier this year at Milan Design Week and completes Sé’s admired Stay family.
