A world-famous German porcelain factory with a long tradition reaching back to its foundation in 1747. Originally a royal porcelain manufactory founded by the Wittelsbach family at the request of the Bavarian Duke Maximilian III Joseph, as in the past, the company still produces its “white gold” at the Nördliches castle today. The local craftsmen still mix their own porcelain, create a unique range of colours, and work without stencils during the hand-painting process. Whether ancient motifs or works designed by leading contemporary designers, the common denominator of all objects from this iconic porcelain house is fragility and uniqueness.
